Waipuna Park is a large sports and recreation park in Welcome Bay. The park is popular for weekend sports and has a playground, mobility parking spaces and accessible toilets. The park also has a walnut grove that makes it a great spot for picnics in the shade, in summer. If mobility allows, Waipuna Park is a great starting place to explore some of the natural walking trails that connect to Johnson Reserve.
