Mitchell Park is a popular sports venue, hosting a variety of athletic events such as rugby, rugby league, cricket, and kiwi tag. It is also the designated home for local rugby and school sports clubs. The park's hillside seating provides spectators with convenient access to events. Please note that the venue has two entrances situated on either side of the sports field: one at the hill's summit and another which can be accessed from field-level.
