Vitality Kitchen offers generally good step-free access throughout its interior, dining areas, and main entrance, accommodating wheelchairs and mobility scooters. However, a significant limitation is the complete absence of an accessible restroom on the premises. While accessible parking is available nearby, it has specific challenges for driver-side transfers on a busy street.

Wheelchair & Mobility Scooter Access

The main entrance and pathways provide step-free access into the venue.
The main entrance door is at least 0.81 metres wide and can be opened with one hand.
All internal entrances, passageways, and doorways have a minimum width of 0.81 metres and can be opened using one hand.
The main dining area provides ample room for navigation, with pathways between tables at least 0.8 metres wide, and tabletops are positioned at a height of at least 0.7 metres from the floor.
Step-free access is available to enter and exit the outdoor dining area through doorways at least 0.81 metres wide.

Accessible Parking

There is one designated accessible parking space located within 30 metres of the café's entrance.
The parking spot is street side and provides enough room for visitors to self-transfer from the passenger door.
However, there is insufficient room for people to transfer to their wheelchairs or mobility scooters from the driver's side, and the street is quite busy.
The car park is well-lit at night and has no steps, curbs, or obstructions separating it from the venue's nearest exit.
The parking space is not covered or sheltered, and there are no designated drop-off and pick-up points.
